Imagine hiring a team of brilliant personal assistants. Each assistant's job is to focus on one of your key communication lines - your email, your calendar, your LinkedIn messages, or your team's support inbox.
They monitor everything 24/7, understand the context, and give you perfect summaries so you can focus on what's important.
This is exactly how Klipy works.
What we call a "Managed Channel" is simply one of those dedicated assistants assigned to watch one of your communication sources.
What Counts as a "Managed Channel"?
A Managed Channel is any single communication source you connect to Klipy for active monitoring and analysis. This can include:
A Workspace Account (e.g., Google or Microsoft): This connection includes both your email and your calendar but counts as just one single channel.
A Social Media Account: Such as a LinkedIn, WhatsApp, or Telegram account.
A Shared Email Inbox: Such as
[email protected]
or[email protected]
.
For example, if you connect your Google Workspace account (email + calendar) and your LinkedIn account, you are using two Managed Channels.
The Value: What Your "Assistant" Does for Each Channel
Connecting a channel is like assigning an assistant to a task. Here’s what you gain by connecting different types of channels:
Workspace Accounts (Email & Calendar):
The Benefit: Klipy creates a complete picture of your workday. Your "assistant" reads your emails to find hidden tasks and opportunities, while simultaneously looking at your calendar to understand your availability and commitments. This allows Klipy to provide incredibly smart, context-aware suggestions.
Value: Stop missing opportunities buried in your inbox because you were busy with meetings. Klipy connects the dots for you.
Social Accounts (LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Telegram):
The Benefit: Business happens everywhere, not just in email. By connecting your social accounts, you empower Klipy to capture important conversations that would otherwise be lost. Your assistant can find a new lead from a LinkedIn chat or track a customer request from a WhatsApp message.
Value: Turn your casual social conversations into structured, actionable business opportunities without lifting a finger.
Shared Inboxes (
support@
,sales@
):
The Benefit: This gives your entire team a superpower. Klipy monitors these critical group inboxes, automatically identifies urgent messages, understands customer sentiment, and ensures nothing falls through the cracks.
Value: Eliminate the chaos of a shared inbox and ensure every customer or sales lead gets a prompt, organized response.
How Managed Channels Affect Your Bill
Your subscription cost is based on how many "assistants" (Managed Channels) you have working for you.
Your Plan Includes Two Channels: Your base subscription automatically comes with two Managed Channels included.
Add More Channels as You Grow: Each additional Managed Channel you choose to add costs $29 per month.
You are always in control of your bill.
When you want to connect a channel that is above your included limit, we will ask you to approve the new $29/month charge. You will never be billed automatically.
How to See Your Active Channels
You can check your active channels at any time in your account settings.
Log in to your Klipy account.
Navigate to Settings in the main menu.
Click on the Billing tab.
On this page, you'll see a clear summary of your usage, such as "Managed Channels: 2 / 2 used."
Common Questions
Q: Does connecting my Google email and my Google Calendar count as two channels?
A: No. Connecting a single workspace account like Google or Microsoft counts as one Managed Channel, even though it gives Klipy access to both your email and calendar. We bundle them for your convenience.
Q: What happens if I need to add a third channel?
A: When you go to connect your third source, Klipy will ask if you'd like to add another channel to your plan for $29/month. Once you confirm, your new channel will be connected and ready to go.
Q: What happens if I disconnect a channel?
A: If you disconnect a channel, Klipy stops monitoring it for new communications, and but you will be billed for it in the next billing cycle. You can reduce the "Additional Managed Channel" in the billing page.
All insights and data gathered before you disconnected it will remain safe in your Klipy account for historical analysis.
