While Klipy's AI works tirelessly to keep your Rolodex automated and up-to-date, you always have full manual control. Whether you need to add a person you met offline, update a job title, or remove an outdated entry, these fundamental actions are simple and intuitive.
How to Manually Add a New Contact
For contacts who haven't been captured automatically through your connected accounts, you can add them directly to your Rolodex.
Navigate to the main "People" page in Klipy.
Click the "+ Add Person" button, typically located near the top of the page.
A "Create Person" window will appear. Fill in the contact's details, including:
First name
Last name
Email
Phone number
Click the "Create" button to add them to your Rolodex.
Note on Duplicates: Klipy's de-duplication logic is always active. If you try to add a contact using an email or phone number that already exists in your Rolodex, Klipy will prevent a duplicate and redirect you to the existing contact's profile.
How to Edit a Contact's Details
As your relationships evolve, so does their information. Updating a contact's details is quick and seamless.
Open the profile of the contact you wish to edit.
In the "About" panel on the right, find the field you want to change (e.g., Job title, Direct Line, etc.).
Double-click directly on the field's text or placeholder. It will transform into an editable input field.
Type your changes and click away. The new information is saved automatically, with no extra "Save" button needed.
How to Remove or Block a Contact
You can clean up your Rolodex by deleting contacts you no longer need. Klipy offers two options for removal, giving you control over future interactions.
Navigate to the contact's profile page.
Click the
...(three-dot menu) in the top-right corner.You will see two options for removal:
Delete: This is a straightforward removal action. It deletes the contact and their associated information from your active Rolodex.
Delete & Block: This is a more powerful action. It not only deletes the contact but also adds their unique identifiers (like their email address) to a blocklist. This ensures that Klipy's AI Executive Secretary will not automatically create a new profile for this person in the future, even if you receive new emails or meeting invites from them. This is the recommended option for permanently ending automated tracking for a specific contact.
